2022 Community Events


May 28th- Dixon Pond BioBlitz

1:00-3:00pm - Dixon Woods, Highlands
Join HCLT for an afternoon of pond dipping and fun as we explore the critters that live in the Pond at our public access property, Dixon Woods. We'll look in the pond for tadpoles, caddisflies, dragonfly nymphs, fairy shrimp, and more.

Participants may also enjoy taking a walk along the network of easy trails at Dixon Woods. Complimentary cookies and lemonade will be provided. Appropriate for all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult. No experience necessary.
